On behalf of the Heidelberg Football Netball Club we send our deepest condolences to Mark, Peter, Greg, Gerald, Mat, John, Helen and the extended Sheahan Family on the passing of Andrew on Friday. Ex premiership player and committee man and in recent years, the best line marker in the business!  Andrew was also a generous financial contributor to the Club. A Celebration of Andrew Sheahan’s life will he held on Thursday 17th April, 1:30pm, Streeton Room, Ivanhoe Town Hall and then back to the Heidelberg Football Netball Club. Under 19s 2s at Warringal Park on Friday Night, 7.00 pm This Friday night U19 2s face Watsonia Sporting Club in a stand alone game at Warringal Park from 7pm. Canteen and Bar will be open with the AFL live on the big screen. Make sure you get down to the oval and support the boys. Under 19s 1s at Coventry Oval on Saturday, 9.40 am Our Under 19s 1s team play against Diamond Creek Football and Netball Club at Coventry Oval starting at 9:40 am. Season 2025 is Here! If you haven’t heard, Round 1 is here and it doesn’t get much bigger than a local derby to kick off the year… Oh and not to mention…  unfurling three premiership flags. For the first time in the club’s 149 year history we are excited to be fielding two U19’s teams.  SENIORS & RESERVES FOOTY Saturday we welcome North Heidelberg to Warringal Park with our Reserves kicking things off at 11:55am. U19’s FOOTY Both our U19 teams will play twilight games with U19.5 (1) to face North Heidelberg, meanwhile U19.5 (2) will travel to neighbouring Beverley Road Oval to take on Banyule. Both games will be at 4:45pm. We hope to see plenty of supporters at both games.  WOMEN’S FOOTY Sunday our Senior Women begin their season under new coach and former premiership player, Craig Hayes, when we welcome 2024 runners up Diamond Creek Women’s to Warringal Park at 3pm. Speducci is Back! FOOTY RETURNS TO WARRINGAL PARK It’s a massive fortnight of footy at Warringal Park when we welcome Essendon District Football League Premiers Keilor Football Club this Saturday 22nd March, before our final practice match against Eastern Football Netball League Premiers Balwyn on Saturday 29th March. Canteen and Bar will be open with the BBQ fired up as well. This Saturday will also be the first look at our Senior Women’s team under new coach Craig Hayes in 2025.
