Lots of news this week!
With a lot of hard work in the 2025 season we have our Senior, Reserves and Under 19s 1s mens teams in the 2025 HFNL Final Series. All of our teams winning records have been good enough that we have a bye this weekend.
With major road works and limited parking around Epping Recreational Reserve the club has decided to organise buses to get players and supporters to and from the ground.

Heidelberg Football Netball Club is excited to announce that Vince Dattoli has re-signed as Senior Coach for the 2026 season. Vince represents the ideal blend of continuity, mixed with progressive thinking which the club recognises as our best way forward and we are delighted to retain him.
Vince’s leadership has been instrumental in driving on field success. His commitment to developing talent, fostering a strong team culture, and delivering consistent results has earned him widespread respect.
With a proven track record and a clear vision for the future, we’re thrilled to have Vince continue guiding our club into our 150th year.

The Heidelberg Football Netball Club is proud to announce our 2025 Hall of Fame inductee Dale ‘Lofty’ Nolan.
Dale’s career was defined by hard work, passion and an unwavering commitment to the game. On the field, he was the kind of player you could count on, always giving his all in every contest, leading by example in some of the club’s toughest battles.

Heidelberg Football Netball Club is proud to announce our newest Life Members Kerry Bourke & Craig Whitbourne.
Kerry has been around the club for almost 50 years, played 107 games before chronic hamstring issues forced him to retire in 1986. After his forced retirement, he did a trainer’s course where he was the main trainer for the next 9 years and also had a lengthy stint on the committee. Kerry is still a loyal supporter of our club today.
Craig came to Heidelberg in the early 2000’s and made an instant impact as a very handy role player who often went under the radar of opposition coaches for many years. Craig was a part of the Reserves premiership team in 2004 where he was arguably best on ground that day. His efforts were rewarded in the following years where he played in three senior premiership sides (2006-08). Retiring after playing around 150 games Craig would often help in unpaid assistant coaching roles and player development, he then took on the coaching role of a very unmanned Reserves side which finished bottom in 2012. He stuck at it and with hard work and player recruitment the following year became the Reserves premiership coach which was a real achievement considering where they finished the previous year.
